Aerial Work Platforms / Aerial Lift Training

Our Aerial work platform and aerial lift training course will demonstrate the functionality and potential hazards of working on an aerial work platform. The purpose of this training is to maximize safety for AWP operators and surrounding personnel. 

An aerial lift is defined as any vehicle-mounted device used to elevate personnel. Aerial lifts are aerial ladders, extendable boom platforms, articulating boom platforms, and vertical towers. Each year, many workers are injured or killed due to in proper use of these machines. Completing this course can help to minimize potential hazards and prepare you to work safely while operating an aerial lift.

CEU REQUIREMENTS

  1. 100% attendance for the Aerial work platform / aerial lift training
  2. Completion of Continuing Education and Training Registration Form
  3. Active participation in all class exercises (determined by course instructor)
  4. Completion of required pre-and post-quiz assessment
  5. As applicable, achievement of minimum passing score on required end-of-course examination
  6. Participation and submittal of end-of-course evaluation form (must provide name on form to receive credit)

  3. Demonstrate how to perform different types of safety inspections on AWPs
